National Executive Committee Meeting of AIMJF was held on Tuesday, 20th August, 2019 at 7.30 pm in the office of AIMJF.
Following Members were present:-

• Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr Irfan Kaludi
• Mr. Aziz Machiwala read the Minutes of last meeting held on 09/07/2019 which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Rs.54,70,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 33 Applications for Housing Help.
• Rs.8,35,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 38 Medical Applications for Major / Minor Surgeries.
• Rs.1,85,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 10 Applications of Flood Affected Victims from Gujrat and Maharashtra.
• Rs.25,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 1 Application for Marriage Help.
• Rs.30,000/- was sanctioned & released tow
ards 2 Applications for Financial Help.
• Rs.27,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 1 Application for Water Filter in Akola.
• Rs.6,500/- was sanctioned & released towards 1 Application for Sewing Machine.
• Rs.75,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 2 Applications for Donation.
TOTAL Rs.66,53,500/- were sanctioned and released towards aforesaid applications.
• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer presented report of his social trip to London & Leicester (UK) and New York, New Jersey, Houston, Dallas, and Austin (USA).
He stated that he has received excellent hospitality and overwhelmed response and felicitations in various Get Together functions organized by all the memon Jamats in aforesaid cities of UK & USA in his honour which was attended by large gatherings. He appraised, interacted and briefed them about Memons in India and activities of AIMJF and its important role for the sake of upbringing a change in memon society. They appreciated the same and shown high regards for AIMJF,
Meetings and programmes reminded them of their root cause in India, they were curious to enquire about native places of their forefathers. Since last 2 yrs UK & USA based Memon Associations are very active in celebrating Memon Day by doing various charitable causes.
They appreciated novel concept of Memon Day, uniting the community and in future in sha Allah they plan to do it in much greater and bigger way.
Members present noted and appreciated the same.
• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer further presented the report of his Ahmedabad Visit to attend Central Gujrat Regional Committee Meeting of All India Memon Jamat Federation (AIMJF) & Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of Halai Memon Moti Jamat, Ahmedabad sponsored by Mr. Sharif Memon (VP – Central Gujrat Region – AIMJF) at personal level on Sunday, 18/08/2019 at Lakadiya Hall, & Tagore Hall respectively.
Mr Iqbal Memon Officer attended the function as a Chief Guest.
Mr Aziz Macchiwala (General Secretary AIMJF), Mr Shakir Batliwala (Jt Secretary AIMJF)
attended the function as a Guest of Honour.
Representatives of Halai Memon Moti Jamat, Ahmedabad, Tharadi Memon Jamat, Kalupur Memon Jamat, Morbi Tankara Memon Jamats were present.
Representatives of Central Gujrat Region expressed their views and matters with regard to housing, and education were discussed.
242 Students of Halai Memon Moti Jamat, Ahmedabad from STD VIII to Higher Studies who secured 70% and above were felicitated with Trophy, Certificate, School Bag, Gift Voucher etc
Members present noted and appreciated the same.
• Mr Asif Abbajumma stated that at present AIMJF Office is functioning from BMC Ground and there is uncertainty about its occupation hence there is a dire need to purchase owned office premises for AIMJF
Members present approved same and it was decided to purchase AIMJF office premises at earliest admeasuring 2000 sq ft
• Mr Asif Abbajumma read the letter received from Nanded Youth Memon Committee, Nanded with regard to their proposal for organizing AIMJF Cricket Tournamnet in Nanded.
He stated that soon he will call meeting of concern persons of Nanded with AIMJF Sports Wing in Mumbai and discuss the rules, regulations, funding, contribution, sponsorship advertisement etc and do the needful accordingly.
Members present appreciated and noted the same.
• Mr Anwar Pishori with grief informed that the Talaq Cases are increasing in our community day by day and it is necessary to stop and resolve Talaq Issues in our community.
Mr Iqbal Memon Officer suggested forming FAISLA WING with the help of prominent Ladies and Gents members of AIMJF and assist disputed families and couples to resolve their differences which are leading them towards Talaq.
Members present approved the same.
• It was unanimously decided to CLOSE ‘Domestic Violence Redressel Wing’ of AIMJF.
• Dr (Mrs) Muneerah Quraishi informed that he is organizing a seminar in Hotel Sahara Star in the m/o Oct, 2019 on issues related to family dispute, domestic violence, etc and invited all members to attend, she will send the Invitation cards once the date will be finalized.
As there was no other matter left for discussion, meeting was ended @ 11.30 pm with Delicious Dinner.
